Piecing a quilt takes far more than time. It is the perfect culmination of ingenuity, creativity, skill and love. However, before it can be called a quilt it must be quilted. This is where the art of quilting is so important. Your beautiful quilt top becomes the perfect canvas of possibilities. Together we will discuss your ideas and vision and then I use my skills to bring it to life.
Free Motion
Free hand quilting requires hand eye coordination combined with long hours of practiced muscle memory to create smooth flowing patterns that look natural and beautiful.
Computer Guided
If only it was that easy... The computer is just a tool. It still requires a true artist to use that tool. Size, angle and placement are not enough. In the hands of an artist it becomes far more.
Ruler Work
Some designs require additional tools to get accurate placement and consistent design. I have a ton of rulers and stencils that can help get the perfect lines and angles in just the right places.
Artist Eye
There is just no substitute for the skill and eye of an artist who has years of experience and countless designs in her head to not only imagine the possibilities and transfer that to the quilt.
